Should my BB continue to breastfeed if he has eczema?

The BB has eczema that is dry and itchy, and the parents are naturally heartbroken when they see it, and some elders say, “Your milk makes him have eczema!” “Human milk is not good!” Should I switch to formula milk? Or continue breastfeeding?

Currently, about 1 in 4 newborn babies suffer from eczema, which is a type of 🥝🍑🥑 mixed allergic reaction that is affected by environmental or food allergen irritation.

Many eczema patients will quit milk 🥚🧀🧈🥛, because milk protein is one of the most likely foods to induce eczema, but it cannot be compared with breast milk, because breast milk is the best natural food 👍👍 for BB, is human protein, easy to digest, can improve BB immunity, 👶🏻

The World Health Organization also recommends that infants should be exclusively breastfed up to six months to provide complete nutrition to their babies. Therefore, eczema babies should be breastfed.

According to a 2012 study on children in Hong Kong, eczema is closely related to food, and the top three types of allergenic foods are 🦪 shellfish 🥚, eggs 🥛 and milk.

If you suspect that eczema allergic reaction is caused by food, you should keep a detailed record 📝 of your food and BB symptoms every day

Breastfeeding 🤰 mothers who have just given birth need comprehensive nutrition, do not stop indiscriminately and cause malnutrition, and seek medical advice if necessary.

Breastfeeding is not easy at all, and it is up to you to decide how much sweat and tears you have to endure when breastfeeding:

– Milk should be expressed non-stop when there is too little milk, mastitis
may occur when there is too much milk- Engorgement is sometimes more painful
than during childbirth- Long-term sleep is interrupted, and you have to get up in the middle of the night to breastfeed
– You can’t help but rush home to feed your friends for dinner

The sacrifice of breastfeeding 🌈 mothers who choose to breastfeed for the health of their babies is really great, so please ask your family and partners to give more care and support 😘 to breastfeeding mothers
